The Corometrics 250 FRU kit consists of a 16-position optical encoder, trim knob and a washer. This optical encoder is specifically designed for global positioning or driver information systems. It has optional integral pushbutton and compatible with CMOS, TTL and HCMOS logic levels. It is optically coupled for more than a million cycles. The pushbutton contact resistance is less than 10 ohms. This 16-position encoder comes along with a 4-Inch cable with the connector for termination. These switches have Quadrature 2-bit code output and an optional shaft actuated pushbutton switch. The trim knob is made up of advanced elastomer systems santoprene 201-55, which is a colorable thermoplastic general-purpose elastomer with good fluid resistance. It can be processed using injection molding, extrusion, blow molding or other melt processing techniques. A brass washer is provided to use with the encoder, thus acts as a switch hardware.
