The NCBED5 Feature Bed Receptacle is a 37-pin recep-tacle that interfaces the feature bed with side rails to theResponder 5 nurse call system. The receptacle is mountedon a single gang stainless steel plate. The feature bedconnects to the receptacle via a bed cable (Rauland modelnumber NCC37 or NCC37RA). The receptacle is thenwired to the Responder 5 Feature Bed Control Module(Rauland model number 350302) via three (3) pre-termi-nated 8-pin connectors for easy installation. The FeatureBed Control Module is then wired via a single CAT5/CAT6cable to the Responder 5 patient stations to allow for callsfrom the bed side rails to be annunciated on the nurse callsystem and auxiliary functions such as TV control to becontrolled from the bed side rails. A 37-pin dummy plug isincluded with the NCBED5 Feature Bed Receptacle.
