- Remove the two plastic hinge pins on either side of the display housing. Loosen them by turning the slotted head counterclockwise with a small flathead screwdriver, then pull them straight out
- Starting at the hinge end of the display assembly, separate the two halves of the display assembly
- Open the two halves of the display assembly and remove the back of the display unit If you have an older version with a backlight tube, disconnect the backlight inverter cable after loosening it slightly with a small flathead screwdriver
- If you have a newer version with LED backlight, use a screwdriver to loosen the white plastic catch on the display board, Use a small flathead screwdriver to loosen the cable lock for the display ribbon cable on the display assembly side and disconne
