The Battery Charger Board mounts at the rear of the C-Arm under the Rear Cover and Component Tray Cover of OEC mobile C-Arm systems. The board is used to charge the battery of the system. The board comprised of various components including resistors, capacitors, Bridge rectifier, power MOSFETs, inductors, semiconductor diodes, transistors, IC's and LEDs. Power Management circuits in the Workstation control the Battery Charger and there are basically four Battery Charger modes. These are Charge Boost, Normal Charge, Low Charge and Off modes. The mode selection is based upon the input current and voltage at the Workstation’s cord cap. The board has heat sink for effective heat dissipation for longer life. The circuit board is made up of a flame retardant glass laminated FR4 material and all the component used are of high quality which ensures long life. This board is a multilayer with Electroless Nickel Immersion Gold (ENIG) finish.
