Product Overview
The Alignment Aperture Jig iDXA is the beam wobble jig which is used in the X-ray bone densitometer. The X-ray bone densitometer is used to estimate of bone mineral density at various anatomical sites, like spine, femur, total body, and forearm. It is also used to assess the relative fracture risk based on the patient's T-score value using the categories of fracture risk defined by the World Health Organization (WHO). The X-ray, bone densitometer is consists of a scan arm, X-ray source assembly, and exam table. The Lunar iDXA uses the fan beam technology with a 64-channel solid-state detector. The scanner designed for optimal image quality and the scanner table that can withstand a patient’s weight up to 204 kg. The X ray source assembly and other electronics are contained inside the scanner table. The laser light is emitted from an aperture that is placed on the scanner arm. The control panel is used to indicate the status of power supply to the scanner table, x-rays supply from X-ray tube assembly, shutter open and laser. The control panel is located on the scanner arm. The aperture jig consists of a plate and dowel pin.
