The Tubehead Prodigy Tested is used in the prodigy bone densitometer which is a device used to measure the bone density. The radiation with lead in front of the radiation source, brings high level X‐ray energy and low‐level X‐ray energy into the human body through the tube window, and a radiation detector that is in line with the source of radiation, detects signals. The Tubehead is provided as a part of densitometer along with a cerium stick filter, Dow corning, O-rings, head screws, socket cap screws, tube head cover, housing, expansion chamber, anode and cathode receptors as well as labels. Through this, the duel energy X-ray is provided with precision and low radiation loss. The assembly is thoroughly tested. The X-rays generated in the tube pass through tube head towards the patient. The filter at the tube head entrance filters the intensity of wavelengths of rays.
