Table mounted shield with 57 cm integrated accessory rail & four lift-off tops This lower body shield substantially reduces exposure to scatter radiation emanating from the table or patient’s body. The shield comprises of a lightweight and durable structure, with two enhanced friction maintaining middle links and the pivotal arm supporting a flexible lead curtain. A unique patented mechanism enables the pivotal arm to move up when in collision with C-arm equipment. Semi-flexible top shields provide additional protection to the upper body. They can be quickly removed to ease patient transfer or access and can be stored on an optionally available wall rack.

• Extra wide collision resilient table shields reduce exposure to the scatter radiation emanating from the table or patient’s body
• Shields easily mount to either side of the table allowing the pivotal arm to always face the head end
• A lightweight, durable structure supporting a two-piece flexible lead curtain (0.5 mm lead equivalent)
• Fitted with a patented device that enables upward movement of the pivotal arm if in collision with C-arm equipment
• The extra wide collision resilient table shield has a 162cm wide x 75cm high curtain providing a safe zone of occupancy
• 72cm wide attachment bracket slides onto a 25mm or 28.6mm high tableside accessory rail (max. 11 mm depth)
• Securing the handle position allows the shield to overhang the rail end or be repositioned further along the table
• 57cm long accessory rail – one 25 x 10mm supplied and fitted, one 28.6 x 9.5mm supplied
• The pivotal arm and middle links can swivel outwards to form a 48cm, or 85cm wing, or inwards to conform to the shape of the table
• The self-adjusting friction pivot prevents the curtain from moving whilst the table is tilting
• The curtain’s 0.5mm lead equivalent layer is bonded to its outer covering meaning the protective layer cannot tear or fall away unnoticed
• Curtain forms around an under-table X-ray tube without impeding movement
• Detachable standard height top shields overlap to provide additional x-ray protection (108cm wide) to the upper body
