Lower the lift arm to the lowest position. Activate the emergency stop. Disconnect the actuator from the control box.Loosen the nut and pull the screw out; then, loosen the screw and nut on the lower end of the actuator. Lift the lift arm and remove the actuator. Install the new actuator. Start by fitting the lower end and then lift the lift arm and fit the upper end. Secure the actuator with the existing screws and the new, accompanying lock nuts. Connect the actuator to the control box.
