The NetDirect Power Over Ethernet (PoE) is a self-powered serial to ethernet cable that converts your RS232, RS422, or RS485 port into a network PoE Ethernet port | The NetDirect PoE Device Server is a small compact cable that allows you to simply convert your RS232, RS422 or RS485 device to an Ethernet port. This conversion allows you to put you devices on a network and have access to them over a wide range via the Internet or local Ethernet network | The NetDirect can be purchased in several different serial configurations. The serial port can be a DTE (male pins) or a DCE (female no pins). Included in the box is a breakout which allows you to wire in RS485 and RS422 into the DB9 Connector on the NetDirect | As a Device Server, the NetDirect is a powerful cable converter that converts your serial port to an Ethernet Port.
