Product Overview

The Writer Base MAC Series component is used in MAC 5000, MAC 5500 and MAC 3500. These ECG analysis systems operate by running the diagnostic tests. This writer base is a part of the writer drawer assembly in which a stack of paper will be inserted. The writer drawer assembly consists of writer door and writer base. Operation is as follows; open the writer assembly, disconnect and remove the print head and press the internal access button to open the unit, slide a stack of paper into the writer compartment with the paper cue hole towards the internal access button. Then pull out the top sheet of paper from the stack and run the writer tests to check the motor speed control, paper speed, paper tracking, paper cueing, and print head quality. The writer door provides access to the writer, paper tray, and battery. Replace the components according to checkout procedures. The material used for this component is Bayblend 10M079B, which is a mixture of polycarbonate and ABS material, which gives it very good mechanical properties.
