The F12 key is highlighted in red color for emergency save. The keyboard has 102 keys and is a PS/2 cable type keyboard. The barcode scanner cable must not be connected to the keyboard PS/2 connector when system is powered on. This would cause the system to lock up after the first scan. If this happens, the barcode scanner cable must be replaced. The keyboard LEDs will turn on at Power On and turn off just prior to the floppy disk drive’s LED turning on. These LEDs indicate that the PC/AT system (EPC-9) is functioning properly. The keyboard connector is hot-pluggable.
