Product Overview

This e-port, patient data module (pdm) to host cable assembly is used to interface the pdm to the host computer of ge's carescape patient monitoring systems. The patient data module (pdm) is a data acquisition device for a ge modular system. It provides a connection from the host monitor to the patient, processes the patient data signals and stores a limited amount of patient data (24 hours captured at 1 minute resolution) for seamless transport. This 5 ft (1.52 m) long cable assembly comprises of a ul758 cable with 10x tinned copper stranded conductor wires, wherein 4x conductors are of 20 awg and 6x are of 28 awg which are diligently positioned in the assembly for efficient data transmissions. The cable comes with a reliable shielding and drain wire that helps in reducing emi/emc interferences and helps in maintaining the signal fidelity. The cable can be used to interface the host and the pdm by using the provided 9 position d-sub connector at it's one end and a 10 position connector at the other end. The connectors of this cable comes with high quality santoprene tpv overmolds and polypropylene pre-molds, which relives cable stresses during installation and protects the internal conductors from damage which in turn results in good durability and long service life. The cable assembly will be shipped in suitable packaging to provide adequate protection during transit.
