The Dash 4000/5000 Display with Flex is an assembly that consists of a flex circuit assembly and packing instruction manual. The assembly is a custom designed main flex circuit assembly for display 4000 and display 5000 equipment. The dash front panel flex provides the connectivity between the Dash CPU (Central Processing Unit) / power management, the front panel and the DAS assembly. The flex circuit assembly consists of three connectors and 28 ferrite beads (FB) used for filtering the high frequency noise from exiting into the front panel. These ferrite beads are soldered near the J3 connector of the flex circuit assembly. The flex assembly is made up of a polyimide film material which provides excellent chemical, radiation and corona resistance. This makes it well suited for many medical applications. The flex circuit film is embedded with a standard wire or ribbon cable to form reliable electrical wire circuit assembly.
