BATTERY MODULE
The battery mode is used in the trasound system for scanning if there in any interruption of power source. It comprises of lithium ion batteries, a self control protector, battery primary and secondary protection integrated circuit (IC), fuel gas integrated Circuit (IC) and a 14 position connector. The lithium ion battery provides a backup mechanism to the trasound system whenever an AC power source is not available. Lithium ion batteries last longer than conventional batteries and do not require replacement as often. The protector or fuse protects the Li-ion batteries from overvoltage and overcurrent. The fuel gas IC helps to measure and maintain an accurate record of available charge in Li-ion batteries using its integrated high-performance analog peripherals. The lithium ion technology used in the system’s battery is significantly less hazardous to the environment.
