Compact PS2, Barcode Scanner Cable
The Compact PS2 Barcode Scanner Cable is a component of the bar code scanner, which is a hand held device capable of reading linear (1D) and matrix (2D) bar codes. The PS/2 barcode scanner cable connects barcode reader to a computer keyboard, to transmit bar code data if it had been typed. One end of the cable is a 10 pin shielded modular plug used to connect barcode reader and the other end is a 6-pin mini-DIN connector used for connecting compatible computer keyboard system. These crimp plugs are designed to work with stranded cable and are easy to terminate. This cable is over molded to provide strain or bend relief. The cable shield is terminated at the connector end to ensure electrical contact between the cable and connector shield. The round shielded cables use twisted pair wiring, where two conductors are twisted together to improve electrical noise immunity.
