The Lead-Acid battery is used in the Interventional Image Guided Systems. This is a sealed Lead-Acid high quality battery that is designed to provide excellent performance, durability and long life. The 12 Volt Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) batteries are suitable to be used for UPS, emergency light, mobility, medical, alarm and security systems. It has the cathode as lead oxide, anode as metallic lead and electrolyte as sulfuric acid solution. The circuit is completed, when the resistive load is given across the positive and negative terminals of the battery and can extract the energy from the battery to perform the task or work. It also has the capable of giving high discharge rates. The Sealed Lead Acid (SLA) batteries use Absorbent Glass Mat (AGM) Technology and are fully charged and ready to install. Sealed AGM batteries are maintenance-free and leak-proof. The battery case is made of ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) material that offers good thermal stability, impact resistance ,dimensional stability, chemical resistance and high tensile strength.
