The TROPHON Connect USB DE-9 Cable is used for ultrasound devices. It is used connecting Trophon printer. The printer uses a USB cable to connect it to the Trophon device for data transmission. One end of the USB cable is a flat rectangular plug and the other end is a square shaped USB plug which goes into the printer. Once the printer is connected to the Trophon device via the appropriate cable provided (either USB or serial cable, depending on the port available on your Trophon device) and powered on, the printer will be automatically detected. It can be enabled or disabled from the printer settings accessed on the Trophon device screen. The Trophon® EPR is an environmentally friendly, efficient system for the complete High-Level Disinfection (HLD) of ultrasound transducers. Using proprietary technology, the system helps make the task of HLD of ultrasound transducers fast and more convenient in just a few simple steps. The system uses a printer that records each HLD cycle and generates an adhesive label detailing the results of each disinfection cycle for documentation and traceability. It is considered as an automated documentation system designed for the Trophon EPR system. It is being used in Voluson E8 and XR Optima XR220amx systems as well.
