Product Overview

The serial advanced technology attachment (SATA) hard disk drive (HDD) assembly consists of a 500GB SATA HDD, power cable assemblies, bracket, gasket, cable-tie and labels for the associated items in the assembly. The HDD is an internal hard drive which is the primary storage device located inside a computer system. It usually contains pre-installed software applications, the operating system and other files. Most desktop computers have several internal hard drives, allowing them to provide greater data storage. The capacity of this hard disk is 500GB and its spindle speed is 7200 RPM. Drive Interface of this hard disk is SATA, which is used to connect ATA hard drives to a computer's motherboard. The SATA interface connects each disk drive in a point-to-point configuration with the SATA host adapter. This interface provides easy installation and configuration with true plug-and-play connectivity, along with thinner and more flexible cabling for higher performance. The solid-state drive (SSD) as a secondary drive, using SATA cable in one end is connected to the SATA connector to the motherboard. Attach the other end of the SATA cable to the SSD. Then, use an available SATA power cable coming from a system's power supply, and connect the cable to the SSD. The bracket is used to easily install HDD into a 3.5” bay on a desktop PC or server without requiring any additional hardware or tools. Cable tie mounts, also known as bases, act as a fixing element for a cable tie to any surface.
