The VCT Heat Exchanger Circuit is a component of the Performix PRO VCT Heat Exchanger assembly that is used in the Light Speed 7. x CT scanner. The VCT Power I/F Board provides a central interface for the low voltage components of the Hercules tube and heat exchanger. It routes the power supply voltage to the heat exchanger and oil pump. It contains some solid-state relays that are used for the blown fuse and oil pump cable connection, fan power detection and oil pump on/off control. It provides an interface and circuitry to vary the HX fan speed based on oil temperature as measured by the thermistor.
