The PL 303 Compression Node is a circuit board that is used for mammography machines, Computed Tomography (CT) machines and many other Digital Imaging (DI) machines. They are mainly used in the compression of the medical diagnostic equipment in order to change the various positions of the patient. It has many components connected to the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) such as capacitors, semiconductors, resistors, programmable logic devices, Light Emitting Diode (LED), filters, switches and drivers. Spacers are used at certain points to have even spaces between the components so they will not touch the components. All are connected by soldering and Room Temperature Vulcanizing (RTV) silicone rubber. It is ensured that the display face will not have any RTV rubber and other dirt after the insertion and soldering is complete. Testing of the compression node is done with the help of a PC with specific software and hardware, as it cannot be self-tested. The Printed Wiring Assembly (PWA) will meet the requirements as per the standard specification and has to be handled in a manner to prevent Electro Static Discharge (ESD) damage. The product is free from dust, burrs, sharp edges, surface blemishes, sink marks and flash marks. It is packaged with a label, containing relevant information about the product, a label with the shipment details, and placed in a carton box with a Quality Assurance (QA) seal.
