This cable assembly is used to interface the display connector board to spectrolite of ge's carescape respiratory modules and aisys cs2 anesthesia delivery systems. The cable assembly comprises of two identical 25 position-2 row male d-sub connectors at the ends, colored black at end a and gray at end b, connected using a 22 awg, 4 twisted pair, tinned copper conductor cable with braided copper foil shielding. The connectors contacts are gold plated which offers excellent conductivity, heat protection, enhance durability and exceptional corrosion protection. These connector are shielded and protected with overmolding to increase the flexibility at the cable exit and provides resistance to abrasion and shock. A 28 mm long ferrite bead with 243 ohms impedance is also provided in the cable which offers very good emi/rfi shielding. The cable assembly is properly shielded and protected using gray colored poly-vinyl chloride jacket which resists electrical leakage and also protects the cable against environmental threats such as water and heat.
