The Plug Service Breathing System, 14 mm Injection Molded is specially designed to provide tight seal on both threaded and non-threaded holes. It is being used in Aisys, Avance, Aestiva and other anesthesia machines to prevent gas leakage. The plug is made of a silicone material, the tapered design of these plugs and the flexibility of silicone allows one size to fit multiple ports. The soft rubber material conforms to provide a tight seal. High graded silicone can withstand maximum temperature up to 600° F (350° C) hence it is very durable. These plugs can be reused many times because of the flexibility of silicone, thus helps to save costs. The material possesses low thermal conductivity and chemical reactivity, and also has good thermal stability. It provides a water tight seal.
