The Giraffe™ Warmer (NICU) Rotating Bed is one of the assembly parts of the bed assembly. It consists of the rotating and translating mattress deck, pressure-diffusing mattress and bed tilt. It is also called the baby Susan rotating mattress. It can rotate 360° and can be slid out of the microenvironment, which is used to facilitate proper positioning for all types of procedures without physical movement of the infant. It can also be used to promote parental bonding. It is placed all around with the side panels. The purpose of this is to ensure the infant is restful, comfortable and safe. It comes as a part of MIC Giraffe™ OmniBed, MIC Panda™ iRES Warmer, ARC Aespire 7900, MS DASH 4000 and MIC Giraffe™ Warmer.
