The component suction regulator comes under integrated resuscitation system in a warmer, which is used to provide a quick neonatal resuscitation therapy. Resuscitation is a process of clearing the airways, assisting breathing and providing oxygen or medical air/oxygen mixture for circulation in newborn babies who have difficulty in adjusting to external environment outside uterus which can lead to respiratory related issues. It also includes a suction circuit for scavenging the exhaled gases. The gas source for driving the suction circuit is provided by the oxygen supply source. The suction on/off switch controls whether this supply gas source is sent to the circuit or not. The suction regulator reduces the pressure of source gas to approximately 138kPa when the switch is on. The gas then exits the regulator and passes through the suction control valve, the output of which is connected directly to a venturi suction generator. The valve increases or decreases the amount of suction. It is highly reliable, durable and efficient. Safe and suitable for incubators / warmers where temperature varies regularly.
