The retrofit kit has four types of seals such as west, south, east and north enhanced canopy seals. The east side seal parts are symmetric to the west side seal parts. The seals are made up of polyvinyl chloride (PVC), it is transparent and flexible. The OmniBed has two control modes when used as either incubator or a warmer. When the canopy is raised the OmniBed acts as a warmer, the lower the canopy, it acts as an incubator. Canopy seals are used to when canopy lower and it makes contact with all four bedsides. It supports the firm lock with bed and canopy to control the air and heat circulation. The retrofit is highly reliable, durable and efficient. This comes as a part of ARC Aespire 7900 and MIC Giraffe™ OmniBed. It needs less maintenance.
