This cylindrical filter is compatible for use with low pressure (<200 psi) medical gas services to restrict the mixing of debris to the gas circuit which would be harmful to the patient or equipment. This filter is made up of high grade T316 weaved stainless steel mesh which offers good corrosion resistance and high-temperature resistance. This filter assembly is cynlidrically shaped by hemming the ends of rectangular piece of wire mesh. The wire mesh is properly folded before heming to make the filter assembly free from sharp edges. Resistance seam welding is done between the hems to provide strong and reliable. The filter assembly must be properly cleaned to remove all contamination prior to usage. This filter is installed in the oxygen circuit of GE's Giraffe Incubator and Giraffe OmniBed Maternal-Infant Care Systems.
