The Fan Hub is used for mounting the cooling fan on the incubator upper chassis assembly. It is fixed in between fan seal and the top of the fan motor shaft. The hub is provided as a part of motor kit controller part. This is placed around the shock mount and goes into motor bracket. The shock mounts provide isolation from vibrations and shocks of high frequencies. It also has a bushing that provides an interface between motor bracket and shock mount and damps the vibration transmission. The hub is made up of a high density Ethylene Propylene Diene Monomer (EPDM) rubber which has excellent tensile strength and elongation capabilities. It also exhibits good abrasion, compression and rebound resistance.
