HUMIDITY SENSOR ASSEMBLY

The Humidity Sensor Assembly consists of major components such as the humidity sensor, heat shrink tubing and harness. Minor components include labels, bags, washers and shims. These major and minor components are assemble together and form a sensor called the “Humidity Sensor Assembly”. This assembly has four wires of various colors such as yellow, green, blue and black. It is placed in the rear end panel on the control panel end of the Giraffe™ incubator. This humidity sensor is used to calibrate the relative humidity of the air which is drawn in from the hood in incubator. Humidity is defined as the amount of water vapor present in the air. It is not only used for the calibration of humidity, but also used to control the humidity level of the incubator.
