The Chassis Kit consists of chassis bed, east hand switch, west hand switch and labels for easy identification. All these parts are assembled together and form a chassis, which is being used in the Giraffe™ incubator. The chassis bed is one of the major parts, on which other subparts like switch and labels are fixed. Labels are mainly fixed on the chassis for the easy identification of parts and their position. Two hand switches are used in this assembly. One is the East hand switch and another one is West hand switch. Both hand switches are fixed onto the chassis bed. The chassis will be acting as a base of the bed assembly in the incubator. It provides the initial space to assemble the incubator heater. There after the tilt mechanism, translation deck, rotating bed and mattress. They will be placed one by one to make up the assembly together on the chassis. The chassis makes up the main body of the incubator which is an enclosed apparatus used for premature babies or neonates to provide warmth in a controlled and protective environment.
