The knob mounting screw is a sub component of the filter cover assembly in the Care Plus® incubator. The knob mounting screw is a type of fastener that can be used in any application joining a number of different materials together. The material the screw is made of is a type 303 stainless steel material which has excellent corrosion resistance and wide range of desirable physical properties. Stainless steels are iron-based alloys that contain a minimum of chromium around 10.5%. The presence of chromium provides corrosion resistance to stainless steel and helps to resist scaling at elevated temperatures.
