The IRIS Kit is an assembly of frame, tightening ring, label and a gasket. The function of frame is to mount the adapter and it is used to mate with the tightening ring. Frame acts as a protective shield for tightening ring. The function of the tightening ring is to snap onto the iris frame to tighten the cuff. There is a gasket present in tightening ring, which acts as a mechanical seal between frame and tightening ring. Label shows the bar coding for the part number and work order defined to mark part number etc. This kit is available in side door (east/west) assembly of Giraffe™ incubator. It is made of polyethylene material, which has good mechanical properties between 70° F and 150° F. This material can be easily fabricated. It is highly reliable, durable and efficient.
