The Seal Down Tube comes as a part of the Anesthetic Gas Scavenging System (AGSS) module of Breathing Gas Circuit (BCG) in anesthesia delivery machines. Excess fresh gas released from the bellows and the gases that are exhaled from the patient are transferred from the exhalation valve to the AGSS module and are scavenged such that the patient or any medical personnel do not breathe them. The down tube consists of a cuff and the tube. It directs all the exhaust flows to the scavenging receiver. It is used in both the active, passive and adjustable AGSS modules. It is connected to the port at the back of the exhalation valve and it transfers the gases without any leakage. It comes as a part of various medical equipment like S/5 Aisys, S/5 Avance, Aespire View, Avance CS2, Aisys CS2, S/5 Aespire 7100, Frame Aespire Trolley w/ vent, S/5 Aespire 100 and S/5 Aespire 7900.
Additional Features:
- Does not contain any dust, dirt, oils, grease, lint, fibers, paper, rust, chips, cleaning solutions, machining coolants and other foreign material
- Confines to international standards like Gas Association CGA.1-1985, American Society for Testing and Materials Standard G93-1988 and British Oxygen Company Handbook of Cleaning using Non-Ozone Depleting Agents-1994
- Provides efficient performance within a wide range of temperature
- Durable and reliable
