The lever bag-to-vent switch in anesthesia delivery is used in Aespire 7900, OBS module, floating microswitch assembly, Aespire 7100 and other medical equipments as applicable. Whenever a ventilator is used on an anesthesia machine, the circle system's adjustable pressure limiting (APL) the valve must be functionally removed or isolated from the circuit. A bag-to-vent switch generally accomplishes this. When the switch is turned to “bag” the ventilator is excluded and spontaneous/manual (bag) ventilation is possible. When it is turned to a “ventilator,” the breathing bag and the APL valve are excluded from the breathing circuit. It is made from the material which has 17% glass filled with flame retardant grade UL-94. It possess high tensile strength, chemical resistant, creep resistant, impact resistant, stiffness and heat resistant. It is free from burrs, sharp edges, surface blemishes, sink marks and flash.
