The Seal is provided in the flow circuit of anesthesia delivery Breathing Circuit Gas (BCG) module. During manual ventilation the gas flows through an unidirectional valve to the patient during inhalation and vice-versa during exhalation. The exhaled anesthetic gases are released into the Anesthetic Gas Scavenging System (AGSS). The AGSS removes vented anesthetic gases from anesthesia machine in areas like operating rooms to eliminate the possible long term health hazards for the exposed medical staff. This seal is seated in between lens and circuit module to prevent gas leakage. It is made up of silicone, which has good flexibility and tensile strength. It provides a firm locking to circle module assembly. It is easily removable and cleaned. The smooth tangencies and moderate hardness of the seal provides good support to the circle module assembly.
Additional Features:
- High tear strength and temperature resistance
- High gas permeability
- Fully cured and durable
- Smooth tangencies
