Product Overview

The Seal is provided in the main manifold in the Breathing Circuit Gas (BCG). In manual ventilation, gas flows from the bag through the absorber, into the breathing circuit module. Then the gas flows through a unidirectional valve to the patient during inhalation and vice-versa during exhalation. The exhaled anesthetic gases are released into the Anesthetic Gas Scavenging System (AGSS) .The AGSS removes vented anesthetic gases from anesthesia machine in areas like operating rooms to eliminate the possible long term health hazards for the exposed medical staff. The Bag/vent is seated on the seal below the APL manifold. The seal is flexible and tensile. It provides a firm locking to bag/vent switch. It is easily removable and cleaned. The smooth tangencies and moderate hardness of the seal provide good support to the manifold.

Additional Features:
  • High flexibility and tensile strength
  • Water resistant and non-toxic
  • A smooth, polished and uniform finish free of tool marks, cuts, voids, tears and scratches
  • Color certified from US Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
  • Features
    • High tear strength and temperature resistance
    • High gas permeability
    • Fully cured and durable
    • Smooth tangencies
