It is also used to prevent leakage from or into the joined objects while under compression. It is made of viton material which is fluoropolymer elastomer, better able to withstand high temperature and has good mechanical properties as well. It exhibit excellent resistance to high temperature and low compression set. It respond very well with resistance to ozone, high temperatures, oxygen, mineral oil, synthetic hydraulic fluids, fuels, aromatics and many organic solvents and chemicals over a temperature range of -20 to +400 deg f. This part is compatible with aisys and aisys cs2 anesthesia delivery system.
