The Bag Arm Support Assembly consists of tube, spring, lock ring and yoke at the end. Bag arm is intended to act as a closing switch of the ventilator path. This assembly helps to connect the bag/vent switch to the breathing circuit module. Bag arm and its sub parts are made up of stainless steel type 303 ASTM A 582 condition. A material, which gives high strength and hardness. The tube is joined to yoke at end using induction brazing with a braze ring, alloy 30-507 braze 505. All inside surfaces to be free of oil, grease, chips, flux, excess solder, and other debris. The power coating is done to the outside surface of the tubing, and all other surfaces to be free of power coating. This tubing is RoHS compliant as per 5240305GSP. Here the solder joints are not required to be leak free. It is being used in Aestivate anesthesia machine. The other applications are Maternal-Infant Care Giraffe™ Warmer, ARC Aestiva 7100, MS CARESCAPE™ Monitor B650 and ARC Testing Service.
