The Hook Breathing Circuit Datex Ohmeda is used to transmit oxygen to the patient for breathing process. It consist of two nozzle were it is fixed in patient nose and other end is connected to the anesthesia machine. Level are adjusted and oxygen is passed through hook breathing Circuit. It is very compactable design. The function of breathing circuit is to deliver oxygen and anesthetic gases, and eliminate carbon dioxide. Carbon dioxide may be eliminated by either washout with adequate fresh gas flow (FGF), or by soda lime absorption. It is made up of Polypropylene RTP.
