Product Overview

A flow meter is used to measure the volume or mass of anesthetic fluids. The anesthesia machine is briefed into three systems: the high pressure system, the intermediate pressure system and the low pressure system. Flowmeters are a part of the low pressure system of the machine. Suction of anesthetic fluids has been crucial in the clinical environment since fluid or other debris harm the patient. The flow at which suction of the used anesthetic gases takes place is to be according to standards and hence the constant reading of the flow rate is necessary. A flow meter is installed in the suction tubing through a nipple. The anesthetic fluid flow in, flow meter which reads the flow rate through the tubing. A Teflon™ tape is wound around the threads on the nipple. This is used in the following product UL Voluson P8, ARC Aespire 7900, ARC Airway Gas Module and ARC Aisys

Additional Features:
  • Firm grip due to installation of Teflon™ tape which prevent the threads from seizing when being unscrewed
  • Features
    • Reliable and safe to use
    • Easy to insert a pipe cleaner for cleaning purpose
    • Accurate in reading the flow rate
    • Leak proof and provides a tight seal
