The PCA CPU/Power Control Board is a Printed Circuit Assembly (PCA) that comes as a part of the Aestiva 7900 ventilator system. The CPU module contains the PCA or the Printed Circuit Board (PCB) to connect the components electrically to the unit. It contains a mounting plate connector, installed onto the connectors by means of screws and Loctite® is applied to them. Heat sinks are also provided. A sealant is applied from the back face of connectors after the plate is mounted to fill the slots completely. It undergoes an In-Circuit Test (ICT) before packaging. It is a component in a wide range of medical equipment like S/5 Aespire 7900, S/5 Aestiva MRI, Aespire View, Aestiva/5 7100 Compact Configuration, Panda™ IRES Warmer, OmniBed™ English E-Base S-Humid, Compact Airway Module and E-CAIO, English and Aestiva 7900.
