7 Weeks Online, 1 Week In-Person Training at RSTI in Solon, Ohio
The Biomedical to Imaging (B2I) course is an eight-week training program designed to help Biomedical Equipment Technicians (BMETs) transition into the medical imaging field. Through a combination of online instruction, immersive XR/VR learning, and hands-on laboratory training, students develop foundational knowledge of radiographic systems, radiation safety, image formation, PACS/DICOM, preventive maintenance, and troubleshooting. The course prepares technicians to support imaging equipment, perform first-level service activities, and build the skills necessary for advancement into imaging service and engineering roles.
