Step down transformer placed upstream of the UPS to avoid inrush current and saturation eliminating need to oversize transformer

- Allows additional run time to be quickly added as needed
- Plug-and-Play external batteries ensure clean, uninterrupted power to the loads when adding extra runtime to the UPS
