Acetal is a general purpose polymer which has an excellent balance of desirable properties. Turcite is also an acetal based material has the similar characteristics of acetal. The unique properties of acetal bridges the gap between metals and ordinary plastics. It provides high strength and stiffness, enhanced dimensional stability and it is easy to machine. It has very low moisture absorption and a wide range of chemical resistance.
