The Cap Scavenger is being used in Aestiva 5 Anesthesia delivery machines. The Aestiva/5 Passive Anesthesia Gas Scavenging System (AGSS) has a two-liter reservoir to minimize rapid pressure changes. It contains both positive and negative pressure relief valves to protect the breathing system. The outlet is a 30 mm male taper swivel connector at the rear of the breathing system.
