Tropical Storm Colin couldn’t stop PartsSource from a successful AAMI 2016

The 2016 Advancing Safety in Healthcare Technology conference and exposition was held in Tampa, Florida on June 3 – 6. This annual gathering of clinical supply chain managers, vendors, suppliers and other healthcare administrators was a hotbed for networking, forging new relationships and checking out the latest technologies.

On the exhibit floor
PartsSource had an excellent position near the very front of the exhibit floor, providing passersby with a great view of our exciting booth. The PartsSource team included representatives from client services, business development, marketing and supply chain management.

“I look forward to connecting with people at AAMI,” shared Brennan Stice, the Vice President of Business Development, West at PartsSource. “It’s a great chance to connect with customers including suppliers, independent service organizations, hospital and clinical engineering teams that currently work with PartsSource. It’s always great to listen to them to understand what they have to say, get their perspectives and thank them.”

His favorite part of the event wasn’t a special speaker, booth or networking event. Instead, Stice looked forward to connecting with people in person to dig deeper into what they’re all about. Part of the many meetings PartsSource was involved with at AAMI included providing people and companies with customer activity reports. These consultations were a part of the PartsSource Pro solution. The team listened to the prospective customer’s needs and then provided an assessment of opportunities to reduce cost, improve productivity, promote a more efficient overall experience and better integration with the help of PartsSource.

“Telling the PartsSource story and explaining how what we offer in the marketplace is incredibly unique and powerful is key,” Stice added.

Of the attendees, there were plenty of clinical supply chain managers and other healthcare administrators who already work with PartsSource. One such company, BayCare Health System of Riverview, Florida, was represented by clinical engineering manager David Booker. He has worked with PartsSource in the past, and upon finding a new need for a different bed supplier, opted to turn to the industry leader in medical parts procurement for assistance.

“The nice thing about PartsSource is that once you have a call to discuss pricing, you get an email within probably five minutes with quote numbers. It makes the purchasing department very very happy to not have to verify any pricing. It’s absolutely a great company to work with,” he said.

Celebrating 15 years of PartsSource
With this year being PartsSource’s 15th anniversary, the company wanted to do something special. We took 140 key customers, suppliers and prospective clients out on Tampa Bay to celebrate. The three-hour tour provided the perfect opportunity for the PartsSource team to thank our valuable connections and partners and to create new relationships in the healthcare industry. The cocktail party wasn’t complete without Hawaiian leis and lots of laughter as the industry professionals enjoyed the gorgeous Florida weather. There was a lot of buzz surrounding the event, and we look forward to creating a similar yet larger gathering at the 2017 AAMI conference and exposition in Austin, Texas.
