SUMMARY: The Director of OEM Business Development is responsible for being the key business leader within PartsSource accountable for the promotion and formation of strategic OEM partnerships.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned to meet business needs.



• Develop new and enhance existing OEM relationships



• Continued development and promotion of OEMDirect program



• Qualify and quantify key targets within the OEM space



• Uncover/contact key decision makers within OEM to whom you will deliver PartsSource value proposition



• Schedule and facilitate meetings with key decision makers designed to strengthen relationship with PartsSource



• Help to create white papers/case studies to demonstrate value of relationship with PartsSource



• Negotiate discounts with targeted OEMs



• Attendance at industry trade shows to effectively deliver OEMDirect message



• Track and report progress regularly to PartsSource executive management



• Collaborate with sales management on go-to-market campaign strategy



• Assist marketing department in development of internal/external marketing materials and collateral



• Serve as the main point of contact on OEM development and issue resolution

QUALIFICATION/REQUIREMENTS:



• Strong verbal and written communication skills



• Ability to professionally interact at the VP and/or C-level



• Excellent presentation skills (creation and delivery)



• Ability to create and deliver a compelling value proposition



• Strong planning, organization, and negotiation skills



• Ability to work well on own as well as within a group setting



• Clear understanding of the sales/negotiation cycle and process



• Ability to make recommendations as to the nature and scope of OEM/PartsSource relationship



• Experience in selling services/solutions to large organizations



• Minimal travel required (10-20%)

EDUCATION/TRAINING/EXPERIENCE



• Bachelors degree preferred



• Experience in the Acute Care/Medical Equipment area preferred, not required



• 5+ years of relevant experience in Sales/Business Development/Strategic Planning required



• Competency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, etc.)
